Mission Statement

Bay Fire/Rescue Department proudly protects over 1800 people. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily rural area. The department has one rescue truck, three pump engines, and one grass truck. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Bay Fire/Rescue Department is a municipal department that is a member of the North East Arkansas Fire Fighters Association and the Arkansas State Fire Fighters Association.

The Bay Fire/Rescue Department was first started back in 1962 with only three men and now made up of eighteen men that are ready to respond to the needs of the public in a seconds notice. We are strictly a volunteer department that strives hard to protect life and property in our community as well as helping our brothers in the surrounding areas. Our department provides fire fighting, Emergency Medical Service, Vehicle Rescue (Extrication), and Search and Rescue services to the community.
